At Evati, we know you work hard for your money. That’s why we are always developing new ways to make your money work for you. Check out our latest new feature that allows you to round up the spare change from your purchases and apply that money to your goals. It’s as simple as 1 – 2 – 3.

  1. Turn on the round ups feature (each Goal Settings page allows you to turn on automated contributions for that specific goal).
  2. Use a debit card for the bank account you have linked to Evati. (This feature is only available for certain types of linked accounts. Contact Evati Customer Service if you don’t see the “Round Up Purchases” option in your Automated Contributions tab.)
  3. Watch your spare change really start to add up!

Don’t wait – this simple feature can add up to hundreds of dollars in savings every year. And of course, we have also been working hard to add features that will help that cash grow even faster once you’ve saved it. Our next Inspire Article “Is your money really only earning 0.1% interest?” talks about our new Short Term Interest investment option that we developed to help your money grow faster.

So how does it work? It’s simple. You pick whether to round up to the nearest $1, $2, or $5. Then, every time you use your debit card for the linked account, the spare change is transferred to your Evati account automatically. So, if you use your debit card to buy a smoothie for $4.70, then the Evati app would round up to $5 and transfer the 30 cents in change to your selected goal. If you picked the nearest $2, it would round up to $6 and transfer $1.30 to that same goal.

It’s important to note that rounds ups will only occur if your bank balance is above the minimum threshold that you set . It may take a few days to see your round ups in your Evati account since we sometimes group transactions and don’t process transactions when your bank is closed. This feature is not currently available if you used micro-deposits to link your accounts. Contact Evati Customer Service and we can help re-link your account if necessary.
